AI DAY France Digital

El club más sostenible de América Latina

Hi,

What a lovely time grateful to have crossed paths with one of the coolest human connections of my day Andréa. A reminder that behind every conversation about AI, sovereignty, and innovation, there are people driven by curiosity and genuine generosity.

Leadership in AI starts exactly there: with humans who dare to explore, share, and lift others as they build.

At CityZeen we’re leveraging AI to democratize access to sustainable real-estate investing that delivers both financial and social impact.

AI Day 2026 from France Digital at StationF was a powerful testament to the energy and ambition of the European AI landscape  and a vivid reminder that artificial intelligence, at its best, is more than just technology: it’s a tool to solve real human challenges and unlock value across society. Held under the high patronage of President Emmanuel Macron, this 10th edition brought together ~2 000 innovation leaders, founders, investors, researchers, corporate executives, and public decision-makers — all driven by a common belief in AI’s potential to shape the future.

The event was structured around three core pillars

Research,

Business,

and Operations, each designed to explore AI from different angles: cutting-edge scientific breakthroughs, value-creation for companies and economies, and practical tools like No-Code that make AI more accessible.

In the AI & Research tracks, voices like Yann LeCun (NYU & AMI Labs) and Cordelia Schmid (Inria & PR[AI]RIE) reminded us that raising the bar in understanding AI’s possibilities is inseparable from raising the bar in how we use it ethically and with purpose. Their insights weren’t abstract, they highlighted how breakthroughs in learning systems and data understanding can accelerate solutions in domains from healthcare to environmental monitoring, where human impact is literal and measurable.

On the AI & Business stage, people like Merete Clausen (European Investment Fund), Xavier Lazarus (Elaia Capital), and Octave Klaba (OVHcloud) bridged innovation and economic transformation. These leaders exemplified how capital, infrastructure and strategic support need to align with visionary founders who want to apply AI to pressing societal needs, whether that’s climate resilience, workforce upskilling, or community development. The conversations here weren’t about tech for tech’s sake, but about how AI can be responsibly scaled to create sustainable economic value.

Another compelling dimension of the day was the presence of policy and ecosystem champions like Anne Bouverot, France’s Special Envoy for AI, and international decision-makers such as Niamh Smyth (Ireland’s Minister for Trade Promotion & AI). Their participation underscored a broader message: for AI to truly benefit people, it must be developed and deployed within a framework that balances innovation with human security, inclusivity, and social well-being.

But AI Day wasn’t just keynotes and panels, it was a living ecosystem of collaboration. The exhibition floors, workshops, and handcrafted matchmaking sessions facilitated thousands of real connections between startups, investors, and corporate partners. The France Digital FDTour matchmaking format and networking tools turned conversations into concrete possibilities from pilots to funding discussions.

What struck me most was not only the breadth of expertise  from deep AI research to venture capital, but the sense of shared purpose: AI must ultimately serve human needs. Whether it was exploring No-Code tools making AI accessible to non-technical teams, or discussing how AI can improve public services and business resilience, the theme was consistent: technology is most meaningful when it enhances human lives and ecosystems, not replaces them.

At a time when there are over a thousand AI startups in France alone, the energy at StationF was one of collective acceleration, pushing boundaries while centering impact over hype.

For CityZeen.co, actually at the Village By CA, AI Day reinforced a powerful alignment. AI isn’t just an enabler, it’s an amplifier of mission. The conversations, the ecosystem participants, and the shared focus on leveraging AI to solve real human and planetary challenges reflect exactly the space CityZeen occupies: using technology to democratize access to sustainable investment opportunities that regenerate communities and create shared value. By connecting AI innovation with impact investing, we position ourselves not just as platform builders, but as human problem solvers in the digital age.

With enthusiasm,

Celina
